Melissa (Melba) Ridd is an early career academic and Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who has spent most of her career working with children, families, and interprofessional health teams across the NT. She became involved in the clinical supervision of allied health students in 2013, fuelling a passion for high-quality clinical education. Armed with a Master of Clinical Education, Melba works to build the skills and knowledge of allied health, nursing and medical clinical supervisors. When she’s not teaching or researching, you’ll find Melba on stage performing stand-up comedy - because why shouldn’t clinical education come with a side of laughter?
