Gloria Baliva is an Indigenous Project Officer at Menzies School of Health Research, supporting clinical and community-based research across Central Australia. She has contributed to projects including ORVAC, Clean Energy for Healthy Environments and Lives (CE4HEAL), and research examining the impacts of extreme heat on primary health care utilisation. Gloria has extensive experience engaging with Aboriginal communities, obtaining permits, coordinating community consultations, recruiting study participants, collecting data, and supporting culturally appropriate research. She is committed to strengthening partnerships with Aboriginal communities and ensuring research is respectful, community-informed, and contributes to improving health outcomes for people living in remote Central Australia.
