Bill Palmer is an owner and principal GP of Bauhinia Health in Katherine, with a strong focus on primary healthcare in remote and regional communities. Over the past 22 years, he has worked extensively in remote Aboriginal communities in health, community development and governance roles, including as CEO of an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. He has also worked with Integrated Disability Action Inc to identify common reasons for NDIS access request rejections and improve the quality of supporting evidence provided by health professionals. He is passionate about helping clinicians navigate the NDIS to help improve outcomes for patients.
