Supporting people with disability in primary care is often less about intent and more about navigating complexity. Clinicians are expected to work across the NDIS, communicate inclusively, and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, yet practical guidance is often lacking.

This presentation introduces a set of structured, practice-based modules designed to bridge the gap between clinical care and system requirements. It explores navigating the disability sector and NDIS processes, developing effective evidence, using inclusive communication, and recognising abuse and safeguarding risks. Grounded in everyday practice, the modules strengthen clinician confidence and support more responsive, consistent and inclusive care.
