This presentation shares learnings from 6 years of implementation of The Communicate Study Partnership, a project that aims to improve First Nations peoples’ experiences and health outcomes.

Key findings from patient stories about their experiences within the NT health system will be shared, alongside data examining how well services capture and respond to language needs and the impact on self-discharge rates. The presentation will also showcase initiatives to improve cultural safety and encourage participants to share perspectives about approaches that support culturally safe, relational care that builds trust and improves outcomes.
