Compass Conference 2026 Travel Grants

The Compass Conference is a key professional development and networking event for the Northern Territory health workforce, bringing together health professionals from across the Territory, particularly those working and living in remote communities.

To help reduce the financial barriers to attending the conference, Northern Territory PHN offers Compass Travel Grants. These grants assist eligible health professionals with essential travel-related costs so more remote health workers can benefit from attending the conference.

Two grant streams are available:

  • Remote@Compass, which supports travel for eligible non government primary healthcare professionals working in remote areas.
  • Mob@Compass, which supports travel for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health professionals working in remote areas.

Successful applicants may receive up to $2,000.00 (GST exclusive) to assist with travel and up to three nights accommodation. The grant does not cover meals, food, or other incidental expenses.

Travel Grant Guidelines

Guidelines have been developed that provide details on the eligibility requirements, assessment and allocation of funding, payment and reimbursment, and grant conditions. We encourage all applicants to read the guidelines in full before submitting an application.
