Tullan Chedzey, I am a Ngiyampaa man from NSW and I am the Community Health Manager at Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation. I have been with Sunrise for the past 10 months and have really enjoyed the opportunity to work alongside our staff, communities and partner organisations across the Katherine and Big Rivers Region.
In my role, I oversee a range of community health programs, including men’s and women’s health, child health, sexual health, social and emotional wellbeing, health promotion, elder care, NDIS and Tackle indigenous smoking along with Katherine West Health Board. I am passionate about supporting culturally safe, community-led health care and improving health outcomes for Aboriginal people living in remote communities.
