Dr Karin Jodlowski-Tan is a rural GP and rural generalist with over 25 years in rural and remote general practice. Currently she is the National Clinical Head of Rural Pathways at RACGP.
She has owned several rural practices and led recruitment for several remote NSW Aboriginal Medical Services. Since joining the RACGP in 2020, Karin led the revision and implementation of the Rural Generalist curriculum and the design and implementation of the remote clinical exam during the pandemic. She is also currently Chief Medical Officer at Wurli Wurlinjang Health Service in Katherine NT. Over the years, Karin held a number of educational and leadership roles with various organisations, including the Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS), Australian Medical Acupuncture College, Bourke and Walgett AMS, and Healius Medical Centres. Her current focus is enhancing the rural training pathways and rural workforce.
