Peter Larter is a health economist with 24 years’ experience in the primary health sector.
Throughout his career, he has worked in national and state government health departments, as a healthcare consultant, with peak bodies and for divisions of general practice. He also has governance experience, including as a former board member of the Australian Primary Health Nurses Association and Eating Disorders Victoria, and as President of the charity Health Australia & Tanzania.
He is passionate about improving health outcomes for disadvantaged and hard-to-reach populations. He also enjoys helping clinicians and organisations secure the funding they need to deliver better care through funding submissions, business cases, and service reviews.
