Fiona Haddon was born and bred in Mparntwe (Alice Springs), with Central Arrernte and Anmatjere family connections. She graduated from Flinders University in South Australia in 2000 with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and has continued to pursue professional development throughout her career, leading to her becoming a qualified psychotherapist. Fiona currently works as a Case Worker in the Kids Strong Minds Program at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, an organisation she has been a part of for more than 20 years across various senior management roles. A mother of 2, Fiona is extremely passionate about working with young people and their families to empower them to achieve their goals. She hopes to see young Aboriginal people learn self-regulation with the safety and assurance that their caregivers have the stability and strength to nurture and provide for them.
