Named ESSA's 2025 Accredited Exercise Physiologist of the Year, Nicholle Cooke-Hayes is the founder and Director of Movement Matters Therapy, the first locally based Exercise Physiology clinic in Central Australia. She has grown the service from sole practitioner to a multidisciplinary team while significantly increasing access to movement-based care across Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover and My Aged Care. Nicholle serves as inaugural Chair of the Northern Territory ESSA State Chapter and is a passionate advocate for remote healthcare. Her presentation draws on lived experience building a multidisciplinary allied health services from the ground up in Central Australia.
