Jane Vadiveloo has worked for over 30 years in social justice, systems reform and human rights. With a Master’s degree in forensic psychology, Jane was a founding Director of Caraniche Services in Melbourne. She has worked with First Nations communities in the Northern Territory for 30 years, establishing strength and justice-based approaches to long-term change. She co-founded Akeyulerre in Central Australia in 2000. In 2011, she co-founded Children’s Ground with William Tilmouth and Arrernte Elders, a 25-year strategy and community-led systems-change organisation that privileges First Nations knowledge, practice and leadership, to achieve generational economic, political, social and cultural justice and wellbeing.
