Student placements are a key strategy for strengthening the rural and remote health workforce. Each year, Flinders University, 'Rural and Remote Health' supports hundreds of students from more than 30 different universities to undertake healthcare placements across the NT. This presentation describes a longitudinal project examining student placement satisfaction, postgraduate work locations and how placement experiences influence future workforce participation in rural and remote practice.
