In Australia around 1 in 5 mums and 1 in 10 dads may be diagnosed with anxiety and/or depression in the perinatal period. In the NT alone, every year this equates to 700 mothers and 350 dads needing support for their mental health after the birth of their baby.

Since funding began in mid-2025, Panda has delivered 295 episodes of care to families in the NT – a 350% increase in just 10 months.

In this presentation we will share our stepped-care approach; from self-managed support to intensive ongoing support, ensuring equitable access and tailored, culturally safe care.
