This presentation explores how FCD Health Ltd has worked to build responsive urgent and primary care capacity in the NT through integrated service models, workforce development and partnerships. Drawing on experience from the Palmerston Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, the new Darwin Medicare Urgent Care Clinic and co-located general practice services, the presentation will highlight practical lessons in establishing accessible care, supporting hospital avoidance, strengthening training pathways and responding to community demand. It will also consider the governance, workforce, funding and operational enablers required to deliver safe, sustainable and locally relevant urgent and primary care services in the NT.
