Description

The Connecting Australian Healthcare – National Healthcare Interoperability Plan 2023-2028 is a plan to build the architecture to seamlessly share health information between providers and to consumers. It encompasses 5 priority areas: identity; standards; information sharing; innovation; and measuring benefits. Delivery of this plan is primarily the responsibility of the Australian Digital Health Agency and state and territory health departments. This presentation will provide an overview of the plan, including what has been delivered, current initiatives, what is coming, and what this means for primary care. It will also detail current and coming activities in the NT, including collaborative work between NT Health, AMSANT and NT PHN.
