In Darwin, Culture Care Connect and aftercare funding has been pooled and allocated to Danila Dilba Health Service, which leads an innovative partnership with Neami National to support people after they have attempted suicide or experienced a suicidal crisis. Known as the Healing and Recovery Service, this unique model places an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation at the centre of service design and delivery, representing a deliberate shift toward culturally responsive, integrated suicide prevention and aftercare.
