In Darwin, Culture Care Connect and aftercare funding has been pooled to support the Healing and Recovery Service, led by Danila Dilba Health Service in an innovative partnership with Neami National.

The service supports people following a suicide attempt or suicidal crisis. By placing an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation at the centre of service design and delivery, the model provides culturally responsive, coordinated and integrated suicide prevention and aftercare.
