This presentation will provide an overview of an antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance and response program, including a flagship digital surveillance tool designed for regional and remote settings.

Launched in 2019, the program supports better clinical and policy decisions by improving access to timely, data-driven information in areas where this can be limited. The presentation will outline the progression from initial concept through to clinical deployment, highlighting key implementation considerations, partnerships, and lessons learned. It also covers how the digital platform supports real-time data capture, analysis, and reporting to inform frontline clinical practice and health system responses.

An overview of priority AMR pathogens monitored within the program will be included, demonstrating how surveillance outputs contribute to targeted interventions, antimicrobial stewardship efforts, and improved health outcomes in regional and remote communities.
