Data is the foundation of responsive and effective healthcare, helping to understand emerging needs, identify opportunities for improvement and plan for the future.

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) is an independent statutory australian government agency with almost 40 years of experience working with health and welfare data. Reflecting this year's theme, CEO Dr Zoran Bolevich will highlight the role of data and evidence in understanding health needs, supporting workforce sustainability, harnessing innovation and enabling healthcare services to be responsive to the communities they serve.
